Peace & Conflict

“In such a world of conflict, a world of victims and executioners, it is the job of thinking people, not to be on the side of the executioners.” – Albert Camus

Crimes against humanity and genocide are not inevitable. It is this belief that drives millions to lend their voices, votes and resources to promote policies and initiatives that advance peace. It is my hope that you will join the community engaged in seeking sustainable solutions to ongoing conflict.

Today, civilians continue to be the victims of widespread crimes against humanity in Sudan, Chad, the Democratic Republic of Congo, northern Uganda, and the Horn of Africa. This widespread, man-made suffering necessitates an immediate and multifaceted response, yet inadequate attention from our world leaders, the media and the general public has allowed these horrors to persist.
